BOOKINGS

Booking Procedure:

Initial booking – Once Trilogy receives the online booking or booking via email, you will be emailed an invoice containing banking details.  The booking will not be deemed binding upon Trilogy Luxury Training as confirmed until AFTER payment or proof of payment is received.  If payment is not received within three days, the school shall have the right to sell the vacancy to another student and no liability shall attach itself to Trilogy Luxury Training whatsoever, beyond a refund if applicable.

Firm bookings - Will be deemed firm once full payment and required documents is received.

ONLINE COURSE:

Once full payment is received, Trilogy will enroll you onto the Food Hygiene Online course, Highfield will send you an email with your username and password, this is needed for you to access the Learner Management System.  Once logged in, you can start your online learning immediately.  Your email address will be your login name.

EXAM:

Once you have completed your online training, you need to inform Trilogy in order to book your exam. Trilogy requires at least a full week’s notice to book the exam on a date of your choosing.  Trilogy will also require an alternative date, should the date you choose not be available.

 The exam can be taken at Trilogy Luxury Training venue or as a Remote Invigilated Exam. This option must be communicated to Trilogy Luxury Training.

REQUIREMENTS FOR REMOTE INVIGILATED EXAM:

It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that they have all the necessary technical requirements for the e-learning course and the online remotely invigilated examination as per the following:

·      Reliable Internet connection that can support multiple devices at one time and video calls. Trilogy Luxury Training cannot be held responsible for any problems completing the course due to unreliable internet connections

·      A laptop or computer in order to complete the online training and exam.

·     A second laptop or a smart phone. This device will be needed in order to proof to the online remote Invigilator that all examination criteria is met before the examination 

·      A web enabled camera 

·      A tablet cannot be used to complete the examination on.

·      Photographic ID to present to the Remote Invigilator upon pre-exam checks

CANCELLATION/DELAY/NON-COMPLETION:

Cancellation - MORE than 3 months prior to course:  Course fee returned, less administration charge of 10% of course fees paid.

Cancellation - 1 to 3 months’ notice prior to course:  Full cost of course is due.  Courses 1 to 3 months away can be moved to a later date at no cost, but not cancelled without losing all course fees.

Less than 2 WEEKS or Non-Completion of Course:  Full cost of course is due.  Trilogy has NO obligation to rebook the candidate/s on a later course, and if the client wishes to rebook the course he/she missed, he/she will have to pay the FULL course fee again to ensure a course booking for a later date.  Unfortunately, no reason whatsoever will be deemed valid in regards to missing/non-arrival at a course.

Any student who fails to complete their training and exam in the required time, for any reason whatsoever, including illness, even if you notified the school will automatically forfeit the total monies paid and no liability by doing so shall attach to Trilogy whatsoever.

BOOKINGS MADE IN YOUR NAME CAN ALSO ABSOLUTELY NOT BE CARRIED OVER ON SOMEONE ELSE’S NAME IF/WHEN YOU DECIDE TO CANCEL.  (We do not allow you to get someone to replace you on a booking that was made in your name).

Course costs will be subject to prices relevant to the revised date of the course (if a price increase has occurred).

DISPUTE:
In the event of dispute not being settled by mutual agreement, it is agreed that an impartial party shall elect an Arbitrator whose decision shall be final.  It is further agreed that all agreements between customers, clients and Students and Staff of Trilogy shall be governed by South African Law.
